Eddie Izzard to Guest Star on “Hannibal”

While we wait for NBC’s decision on whether or not they’ll continue with “Mockingbird Lane,” Eddie Izzard fans have a new reason to celebrate: he’ll be seen on Bryan Fuller’s other upcoming television series, “Hannibal.”

Entertainment Weekly broke the news earlier, announcing that Izzard will be guest staring as an inmate claiming to be “the infamous Chesapeake Ripper.” Although his character’s name was unnannounced, here’s an additional interesting tidbit: he’ll be an inmate at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, aka where we eventually find Hannibal Lecter incarcerated.
