“Pushing Daisies” to Return in New Format?
At his 2012 Comic-Con panel, Bryan Fuller briefly talked about the future of “Pushing Daisies.” Although DC is being stubborn with the release of the comic book, citing a lack of interest, Bryan evidently still has plans on reviving the story in another form. The Hollywood Reporter stated:
Fuller also noted that there is “something” regarding Pushing Daisies that he’s working on, that isn’t a miniseries or a comic but declined to provide additional details. “If it doesn’t go through I look like an asshole!” he joked.
Twitter user @ccrollins added a direct quote said by Bryan at the panel: “There is another Pushing Daisies project that is not a show or a graphic novel that we are working on.” What do you think it could be — a film? And if you’re still interested in seeing a graphic novel adaptation of “Pushing Daisies,” Bryan Fuller urges you to “write DC and tell them you want a ‘Pushing Daisies’ comic!”

Our whole family loved Pushing Daisies and were so bummed when it got cancelled. We would love to see something show up again!!! We talk about it frequently how we miss it then have to watch old episodes.

I wrote them when I read this yesterday. It’s such a wonderful show; it’s a shame that DC is waffling on the release.

I made the effort and sent DC nudge. I can’t imagine why they would stall on this. Why not just release a Digital version. Then publishing costs we be nominal relatively speaking and it would be a great gauge for releasing a print version. What I’d really love to see is a Flash animation (or similar process) continue the series in mini-episodes with the original actor lending their voice talent… but I realize that’s just a dream.
